READING TRACKER AND GOAL SETTING
In second grade we begin tracking the different books that we read. You will set a goal for the number of books that you think you can read by the end of this school year. Put the number in the box in the corner.
Genre Tracker
Just like our reading tracker, you will use the genre tracker to keep track of what you are reading. Shade in the box above the genre of the books you are reading this week. Make sure you start at the bottom of the bar graph, next to the 1.
Interest Inventory
The reading tracker and genre tracker are tools that you will use to help you record the types of books you read this year. Use this interest inventory to get an idea of what you already like to read.
