Herve Tullet is a French author and illustrator who has published books such as: "Press Here" "Let's Play!" "Help! We Need a Title!" "Mix It Up" All of his books are both fun and creative stories that include ways to challenge how we think about a picture book. WE WILL BE READING BOTH "HELP! WE NEED A TITLE!" AND "Let's Play!"We will see how many of us can become authors and illustrators like Tullet. Keys to success:
There are many beautiful things about the planet we call Earth. This is our home and we must take care of it. Since 1970, people have come together every April 22nd to show their love for the Earth. Many people participate in projects to clean up their community or other types of projects that benefit the environment.
After our read aloud today we will brainstorm some things that we could do to help the environment. With any free time we will explore Google Earth. READ ALOUD: "THE GIVING TREE" BY SHEL SILVERSTEIN
