Polar Bear, Polar Bear what do you hear?Objectives:
We are still practicing our senses. Today we are working on our sense of hearing. We are going to listen to the story "Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?" by Bill Martin Jr.. Following this we will listen to different animal sounds and then play "Polar Bear, Polar Bear Says". Students will have a chance to move with GoNoodle and then choose a book.
Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see?Objectives:
We are going to be using our sense of sight today. We will listen to the story "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?". Following that we will practice out colors and play an I Spy game with Brown Bear characters. To finish up we will pick out books.
shapes and booksObjectives:
We are going to start by listening to the story "perfect square" by Michael Hall. Students have been learning about their shapes in the classroom.
After a brain break, we will head to the lab to listen to the story "Wild About Books" on BookFlix. Small groups will be called for book exchange while students are listening to the story. Using our numbers in a storyObjectives:
We are learning about numbers to ten this month. We are listening to the story "Chicka Chicka 1 2 3" on BookFlix. After that, we are practicing drawing different types of lines and talking about the parts of a book again. |
